This project involved designing a new entry area and living space.
The existing space was uninviting, hard to navigate, outdated, and in need of repair. Notice the old steps. The risers were inconsistent and created an uncomfortable and potentially dangerous situation. The landing at the top of the steps was too small to accommodate easy and comfortable entry into the house.
The new design creates a wider step entry with consistent risers and treads and a larger landing. The curvature of the steps allows access from different directions. Other improvements included a larger paver patio to accommodate seating, a table, hot tub, and grill area. The lower portion of the patio uses stone and rock to create an informal fire pit and sitting area.
This job was managed and installed by Earthadelic. They did a great job and the owner is very pleased with the work and the overall experience.
